When you enter, the restrooms are located to the left and also to the right of the double doors located behind the Information Desk. Go thru the double doors to enter into the Worship Center.
What are worship services like?
We have two huge screens to display words to hymns and praise choruses. Bible verses and sermon points are displayed on these screens, also. We have times of prayer and offering. Our choir musicals, solos and instrumentals are uplifting. Our pastors deliver sermons that are relevant for today and thought provoking. Every service concludes with an open altar for prayer and decisions. Those seeking the Lord are encouraged to come forward and speak to a minister during the invitation. It is our desire for you to receive a blessing while worshipping with us.
Does the church offer Sunday School?
YES, we have classes for everyone -- babies through senior adults! All classes begin at 9:30 A.M. Small children meet in the Children’s Building. Middle School students meet in the Education Building in Rooms 201 and 203. High School students meet in the Student Center that's located across the parking lot from the Worship Center. Adults meet in rooms that are located in the Worship Center Building. Children and Youth classes are set up by grade. Adults should expect to try out a few classes in order to find the one that fits. Our teachers are committed to teaching the Word. Most classes engage in fellowship outside the Sunday School hour. Sunday School is essential for building relationships and connecting to Unity.
What are the Core Values?
Unity is a Southern Baptist congregation. We are a corporative member of Western Baptist Association, Georgia Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Convention.
Do you have a place for me and my family?
Yes! There's always room for teachers, musicians, greeters, etc. We have an assortment of activities that always need volunteers to make them successful.
How do I become a member?
Unity accepts members in three ways and we encourage you to join with us as soon as you are confident that the Lord has led you here.
First, we receive members who make a profession of their faith in Jesus Christ and follow in believer’s baptism. A person would choose this route if they had come to faith at our church and desired to follow that decision with church membership.
Second, we receive members by transfer of membership from another church. A person would join in this fashion if they were already a follower of Christ who had been affiliated with another church.
Third, we receive members by statement of their faith in Christ and desire to join the church. A person would join by this method if they were a professing believer in Christ, but had no former church membership. In each case, Unity requires all members to be born again and to be baptized as believers by immersion.
